We not only visually inspect all boards several times during production, but we also give you the option to allow us to electronically test your product. The electronic testing goes through three phases: an initial test, a burn-in phase, and a final test. The burn-in phase strains the electronic components to ensure the parts we used will stand the test of time. This procedure will substantially reduce the amount of returns and defective product you and your customers may experience. How it works:
We put your boards on a static free pad and hook them up to the precise voltage required to operate your product. A power supply is switched 'ON' and 'OFF' once every 45 seconds. We leave the boards on this fixture for a period of 24-hours. That means that every hour we apply power and remove it a total of 80 times. By the time the 24 hours is complete, that number will be over 1900.
